Licensed Veterinary Technician
Vivian Yan, LVT & Hospital Supervisor
Vivian Yan became a licensed veterinary technician in December of 2006. She started a family at a young age, but this did not stop her from following her dream of working with animals. She went to LaGuardia to study Veterinary Technology in 2003 and graduated in 2006. Over the course of 15 years, Vivian specialized in working with felines – this gave her a strong set of skills and love for cats. She also worked in several emergency specialty hospitals where she worked with both cats and dogs and obtained a more advanced set of skills and knowledge. During her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her kids and going to the movies. Vivian also has a love for Corgi’s. She has found a home at Seaport Animal Hospital for the past four years, where she is proud to be a Hospital Supervisor and a licensed veterinary technician.
Peter has been working in the veterinary industry for over 11 years. Prior to joining Downtown Veterinary Medical Hospitals, he spent 2 years working at a feline only practice. He has a great love for animals and currently has two dogs, named Rascal and Otis.
Jolee has over 8 years of experience at Animal Shelters in the Westchester Community. This is where she found her love for animals. She continued her education after High School to Tuskegee University with B.S. in Animal Science. In 2012, she started working in small animal practices and in 2014, she joined the Seaport Animal Hospital. Her future goals is to become a Veterinary Technician specializing in surgeries. She spends her spare time with friends and family and her dog, Lady. She still continues to volunteer with the help of her sorority, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority Inc.
Ady has been with Downtown Veterinary Medical Hospitals since 2016. She entered the Veterinary field in 2014. Before that, she worked as a receptionist in human hospitals in Florida for 11 years. Ady loves bonding with our patients by giving them treats when allowed. She even has a puppy fan club. When she’s not giving our puppies treats, she spends her time at home with her family, friends, and orange tabby, Fuzz-E. She also enjoys watching movies, listening to music and playing video games.
